John H. Everett

This is my father. He is now deceased. He served in the Army Air Corp during WW 2 as an Airplane & Engine Mechanic. He was utilized as an aerial photographer. I have some photos that he took per his conversations with my husband. He was in Alegeria-French Morocco, Rome-Arno, Sicliy, and Tunisia. We are from NYS and he enlisted in Rochester, NY. He was captured twice - once in Anzio and in Africa. My father's brother Walter was killed in Africa early in the war. I was in the Air Force during the Viet Nam era and my career was with the VAMC as a rehabilitation specialist. My father was severely "shell-shocked". And spent his life in and out of the VA hospitals. I do have some photos of him in a flight suit and with "his" airplane.
